Quick Voice Memos is an offline-first application. * Personal Data: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII).
Audio Recordings: All voice recordings created within the app are stored locally on your device's internal storage. We do not have access to your recordings, and they are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party cloud services.
Metadata: Any titles or timestamps associated with your recordings are stored locally using on-device storage (AsyncStorage) and never leave your device.
To provide its core functionality, the app requires the following permissions:
Microphone: Required to capture audio for your voice memos.
Storage: Required to save and manage audio files on your device. The app only accesses these features when you explicitly initiate a recording or management task.
The app does not use any third-party services (such as analytics, advertising SDKs, or cloud providers) that collect information used to identify you.
Since all data is stored locally, you have full control over your data:
You can delete individual recordings within the app’s "Vault" screen.
Uninstalling the app will generally remove all associated local data and recordings from your device (depending on your Android OS version).
Our app does not collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no data is collected, the app is safe for all users in compliance with COPPA and GDPR regulations.
