Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the QuickTools mobile application (the “Application”) developed by Codex12Dev (the “Service Provider”). The Application is provided “AS IS”.

Information Collection and Use

The Application does not intentionally collect, store, sell, or share personal information on external servers for advertising or tracking purposes.

The Application does not require users to provide personal data such as name, email address, phone number, or location.

The Application does not collect precise location data.

The Application stores user-created data locally on the user's device, such as:

• Tasks

• Saved passwords

• Generated QR images saved by the user

• App preferences/settings

This data remains on the device unless removed by the user or deleted when the app is uninstalled.

QR Scanner and QR Generator

The Application includes QR scanning and QR generation features. QR scanning may use the device camera or images selected by the user from the device gallery.

QR code content is processed locally on the device. The Application does not upload scanned QR content or generated QR images to external servers.

FTP Server

The Application includes an optional FTP Server feature that allows users to transfer files between their device and another device on the same local network.

Files transferred through this feature are handled locally over the user's network. The Application does not upload these files to external servers.

Internet Speed Monitor 

The Application includes an optional live internet speed monitoring feature that displays upload and download speed through the app and, when enabled by the user, through a persistent notification.

This feature processes network traffic statistics locally on the device and does not transmit browsing activity or personal network data to external servers.

Flashlight, Widgets, and Quick Settings Tiles

The Application includes flashlight, home screen widget, and Quick Settings tile features. These features are used only to perform user-requested actions on the device.

Third-Party Services

The Application may use standard platform services provided by Android and Google Play for app functionality, security, notifications, app distribution, and app review. The Application does not currently use third-party advertising, analytics, or user tracking services.

Advertising

The Application does not display ads in the current version.

Data Retention Policy

Locally stored data remains on the device until deleted by the user or until the Application is uninstalled.

Children’s Privacy

The Application is not specifically targeted at children under 13. 

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

The Application stores user-created data locally on the device. No personal information is intentionally transmitted to external servers by the current version of the Application.

Saved passwords are protected using device-level local encryption where supported by Android.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page.

Continued use of the Application implies acceptance of any updates.
