QuickScan PDF ("the App") is a document scanning application. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your data.
App Data
QuickScan PDF processes and stores your scanned documents, images, and PDFs entirely on your device's local storage. We do not operate any server, and no scanned document or image is uploaded to us or to any third party by the App.
Camera Access
The App requests camera permission solely to let you scan physical documents. Camera images are used only to create your scans and are not transmitted anywhere.
Photos / Gallery Access
The App requests gallery/photos permission only to let you import an image you choose. We do not scan, index, or access any other photos on your device.
No Account Required
QuickScan PDF does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the App.
No Cloud Upload
Your scanned documents and generated PDFs are saved only on your device. The App does not automatically upload them to any cloud service or server.
Sharing
When you use the Share feature, the App hands your PDF to a third-party app of your choice (for example WhatsApp, Gmail, Google Drive, or another app installed on your device). That transfer is initiated by you, and any data handling from that point onward is governed by the privacy policy of the third-party app you selected.
Data Deletion
You can delete any document you have scanned or imported directly within the App at any time. Deleting a document removes it from your device's local storage.
Third-Party Services
The App does not currently use advertising or analytics services. If this changes in the future (for example, by adding AdMob or an analytics SDK), this Privacy Policy and the app's Play Store Data Safety section will be updated accordingly before release.
Children's Privacy
QuickScan PDF does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since no data leaves the device, no personal information is transmitted or stored by us regardless of user age.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
