Privacy Policy — QuickReply Snippets
Last updated: September 2026
QuickReply Snippets ("the extension") is a Chrome extension that lets users
create short text triggers that expand into longer, saved text when typed
into any text field on any website.
What data the extension accesses
The extension reads the text you type into editable fields (such as input
boxes, text areas, and message compose boxes) on the websites you visit, in
order to detect when you've typed one of your own saved triggers and expand
it into your saved text.
What we do with that data
- This processing happens entirely on your own device, in real time, as
you type.
- We do not transmit, store, sell, or share the content of what you type
on any website with the developer or any third party.
- Your saved snippets (the triggers and expansion text you create yourself)
are stored using Chrome's built-in storage.sync feature, which syncs
across your own devices when you're signed into Chrome. This is Google's
own browser infrastructure — the developer does not operate a server that
stores your snippets.
License verification
If you purchase the Pro upgrade, the extension sends the license key you
enter to Gumroad's license verification API to confirm it's valid. No other
personal data is sent as part of this request.
Data we do not collect
We do not collect personally identifiable information, health information,
financial or payment information, authentication credentials, location
data, web browsing history, or user activity such as clicks or keystroke
logging, beyond the specific trigger-detection function described above.
