1. Data Collection Quick Paste Pro does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All text snippets, favorite statuses, and timestamps created by the user are stored strictly on the user's local device using the chrome.storage.local API.
2. Use of Permissions
Storage: Used solely to persist your saved snippets on your local machine so they are available when you restart your browser.
Context Menus: Used to allow you to save selected text or paste snippets via the right-click menu.
Side Panel: Used to provide a management interface for your local snippets.
ClipboardWrite: Used to copy snippets to your clipboard for the "Paste" functionality.
3. Data Security Since all data remains local, the security of your snippets depends on the security of your personal device. We do not have access to your saved information at any time.
4. Third-Party Sharing No information is shared with third parties, as no data is ever uploaded from your device.
5. Changes to This Policy We may update this policy from time to time. Users will be notified of any changes via the extension's update notes.
