Welcome to Quick Idea Vault ("the App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.
Our core philosophy is simple: Your ideas belong to you, and they stay on your device.
Quick Idea Vault does not require any user accounts, registration, or authentication. We do not collect, request, or store personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or precise location.
All content you create within the App—including idea titles, descriptions, character counts, and timestamps—is stored locally on your device using your operating system's sandbox local storage (AsyncStorage).
We do not operate any external cloud servers.
We cannot see, read, modify, or delete your ideas.
Your data never leaves your physical mobile device.
The App operates with minimal permissions. It only requires standard, non-sensitive system permissions necessary to run a React Native application framework successfully on Android and iOS (such as basic network access capabilities for standard package initialization, though no data is sent). It does not access your camera, contacts, microphone, photos, or hardware identifiers.
Because your data is stored locally on your device, the security of your ideas relies entirely on the security of your mobile phone.
Encryption & Access: We recommend securing your device with a passcode, PIN, or biometric lock (Touch ID/Face ID) to prevent unauthorized local access to your ideas.
Data Loss Risk: Because there is no backend cloud backup, deleting the App, clearing the App's storage cache, or factory resetting your device will permanently erase your saved ideas. We cannot recover lost data for you.
Quick Idea Vault does not include third-party advertising SDKs, analytics tracking tools (like Google Analytics or Firebase), or social media plugins. Your interactions within the app are completely private and untracked.
Our App is safe for everyone, including children. Because we do not collect any personal data whatsoever, we do not knowingly or unknowingly collect information from children under the age of 13, in full compliance with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and GDPR regulations.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be made available by posting the new Privacy Policy directly within the App store listing or an in-app update. Since the app is completely offline, your continued use of the device application constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
