Introduction

IT Flow built the Question Maker app as an educational application. This service is provided by IT Flow and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at Question Maker unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

"Question Maker" is an Android app developed for generating question sets and exporting them as PDFs. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting any information you may share while using our app.

Information We Collect

We do not collect or store any personal information from users. However, our app requests certain device permissions to enable core functionality, explained below.

Permissions We Use and Why

1. Storage Permission (File/Media Access)

Used to let users choose images from their device gallery to add in questions. We access only the image(s) selected by the user and do not upload or share them.

2. Internet Permission

•  Used to load ads via Google AdMob.

• Also used to connect with our developer server to fetch app configuration (e.g., enabling or disabling ads).

• We do not track browsing activity or collect personal data from these requests.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party libraries/services:

Google AdMob (Ads)

We use Google AdMob to display ads in the app. Google AdMob may collect certain data, such as device information and location (approximate), to serve personalized ads. Users may opt-out of personalized ads by adjusting device ad settings.

Apache POI & XmlBeans

Used for reading and writing DOCX/XLSX files. These libraries do not collect any data.

Denzcoskun ImageSlider

Used to display images in slider format. No personal data is collected by this library.

How We Use Your Data

• Any text, images, or content you enter in the app are used only to generate PDF files.

• All processing is done locally on your device.

• We may connect to our server only to fetch app configuration (such as whether ads should be shown).

• We do not send, share, or permanently store user-generated content or personal data on any external server.

Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take immediate steps to delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take the necessary actions.

Data Security

• We do not permanently store or transmit user-generated data to external servers.

• All files and content are processed and stored locally on your device.

• Server requests are limited to configuration settings (e.g., ads control) only.

• However, we recommend not including sensitive information in the documents you generate.

Changes to this Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
