This event is a casual, open structured, gathering for people to spend time together, do crafts, play yard games, and support the local queer community.
This is a "masks required, masks provided" event. Attendees will be expected to wear high-quality face masks and will be provided with them upon arrival.
We understand that some disabilities create situations where individuals are unable to wear masks.
We are inviting people who do not fit the above description, to try practicing being a little uncomfortable for the benefit and safety of others. To practice mask wearing at Pride is an act of care & love for the queer community.

This is a free, family-friendly, and sober event. Please do not bring alcohol.
There will be drinking water available at this event, bring your own water bottle or use one of our compostable cups!
Because this is a masks required event, we do not encourage bringing food or eating at the event.
There will be a Sharing Space/Open Mic starting at 3PM and going until 4:30PM, or until people are done sharing. We will be using an amplified sound system to help ensure folks can hear the performers. This activity will be taking place with performers using the bandshell or area in front, and audience members using the bleachers. Folks interested in sharing a poem, song, performance (drag!?), story, creation, or speech will be able to sign up starting at 2PM on June 21st. We suggest about 5 minutes per sign up slot.
Pets are requested not to be present at this event in an effort to make attendees more comfortable.
This event will not be fully wheelchair accessible. Curb cuts and sidewalks connect most of the park, but there will be activities in the grass. Many event activities will be adjustable and movable to align with access needs.
We will be utilizing park benches, bleachers, and picnic tables. Bringing your own lawn chair to this event is encouraged, but not required.
The park is shaded by trees in multiple areas and has a completely shaded picnic shelter. There are parts of the park in complete sunlight.
There are public park bathrooms. The bathroom doors are not automatic, and the stalls are not large. The bathrooms are gendered, but this event will have signs designating them both as gender-neutral. The bathrooms are directly connected to the park sidewalk system and are within the bandshell structure.
Eastside Park has street side parking around the entire perimeter of the park. Parking areas connect directly to the park sidewalk system with curb cuts.
Eastside Park has multiple sets of playground equipment that can be utilized by Pride attendees!
The Morris Transit will be open from 12 PM to 4 PM, and event attendees can call 320-589-1000 to schedule rides to and from Morris Pride free of charge!
