Dyane Johnson is the owner of Petworth Cigars. She is a native Washingtonian and a legacy entrepreneur. Petworth Cigars is housed in a building that was purchased by Dyane's grandmother in 1978. Her grandmother owned and operated Swant Beauty Salon salon from 1978 until 2006. After retiring in 2017, Dyane decided to start the journey to open her own cigar lounge. After giving oversight to a total gut of the building, waiting a year to secure a building permit, Petworth Cigars opened during the pandemic in November 2020.
