Biography

Currently, I work in BNU-HKBU UIC as assistant professor. In 2019, I worked as research scientist in IVRL Group in EPFL on video genre classification in Switzerland. I worked as a Post-Doc in University of Fribourg in Switzerland from March 2017 to September 2018. I received my Ph.D. degree (with highest honors) in Computer Science in University of Rennes 1 in France in 2016. My Ph.D. thesis was jointly supervised by the Institut National de l’Audiovisual (INA) and the Institut de Recherche en Informatique et Systèmes Aléatoires (IRISA). My Ph.D. thesis is about multimedia content analysis. Before my Ph.D., I worked as a research engineer in Telecom ParisTech in 2012, focusing on real time imitation of facial behavior. I obtained my M.S. degree from INP Toulouse and an engineering degree in ENSEEIHT in 2011. During my master's study, I did a six-month internship in automatic exposure time measurement at DXO Labs. I got my B.E. degree in Measuring & Control Technology and Instrumentations from Xidian University in China in 2009.
