Welcome New Members to the QUASAR Lab
We are happy to welcome new members to the QUASAR Lab in 2025.
(From left) Haneul Kim (김하늘) joins us as a master’s degree student, and Hwijun Ko (고휘준), Chae Wook Lee (이채욱), Yeon Woo Seok (석연우), and Ji-Won Joung (장지원) join as undergraduate internship students.
Haneul Kim is a master’s student in Prof. Sanghoon Kim’s Lab, associated with the QUASAR Lab. Her research focuses on NV tip scanning magnetometry, NV-based wide-field and confocal magnetometry for magnetic textures, and machine-learning–based current-distribution imaging for micro-circuit inspection.
As undergraduate research interns, Hwijun Ko works on NV-based confocal scanning magnetometry with pulsing-sequence control. Chae Wook Lee is interested in NV-based wide-field and confocal magnetometry and RF control and RF-coupled physics. Yeon Woo Seok focuses on ensemble NV–based sensitive wide-field magnetometry. Ji-Won Joung works on NV-based wide-field and confocal magnetometry and machine-learning–based current-distribution imaging for micro-circuit inspection.
We look forward to their contributions and wish them a productive and exciting research journey at the QUASAR Lab!
