George Mason University's Quantum Science and Engineering Center (GMU QSEC) offers teacher professional learning opportunities throughout the academic year and in most summers.

Quantum Step-Up Summer 2026
Educator Cohort
Meeting on the GMU Fairfax Campus
July 14-16, 2026
Cohort members are eligible for 25 PD hours
and a $1000 stipend.
Applications were due by Mon, May 25, 2026.
ALL spaces have been filled.
We are looking to develop curricular activities and purposefully designed lessons that bridge quantum education concepts from elementary classrooms into high school and careers. As part of this, we are seeking the following teachers:
Elementary school, grades 4-6
Middle school in the following subjects:
Physical Science
Computer Science
Mathematics
High school in the following subjects
Chemistry
Physics
Computer Science
Mathematics
