I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the University at Albany, State University of New York. My research fields are health economics, labor economics, environmental economics, and public health. I study how public policies and social determinants of health--including economic instability and environmental factors--shape population health, with a focus on maternal and infant health and racial disparities.
