Day 1: Windhoek to Swakopmund

Your coastal adventure begins with a scenic drive from Windhoek through the Khomas Highlands to the charming town of Swakopmund. The route offers a dramatic change from the savannah to the desert landscape of the Namib. Once you arrive in Swakopmund, you’ll have the rest of the day to explore the town’s blend of colonial architecture, ocean views, and vibrant atmosphere. Unwind in comfortable accommodation near the beach and perhaps take an evening stroll along the seafront or sample the town’s famous seafood.

Day 2: Walvis Bay Marine Cruise & Sandwich Harbour Adventure

Today promises an unforgettable experience filled with adventure and stunning scenery. Your day begins early with a short drive from Swakopmund to Walvis Bay. At 08:30 am, meet your guide at the Walvis Bay Waterfront (ground floor, Boardwalk building) before embarking on a marine cruise at 9:00 am. As you glide across the waters, you'll have the chance to spot pelicans, seals, and possibly the elusive Benguela dolphins. The cruise will also take you past old shipwrecks and offer fantastic views of the Namibian coastline.

After the cruise, your next adventure starts at 12:30 pm from the same location, this time venturing into the desert for the thrilling Sandwich Harbour dune drive. Your guide will take you through breathtaking dune landscapes, with stops for photo opportunities, sightseeing, and even a chance to dip your toes in the cold Atlantic Ocean. At Sandwich Harbour, enjoy a light lunch while taking in the panoramic 360-degree views of the lagoon and surrounding dunes. This extraordinary experience combines the beauty of the desert with the thrill of exploration, making for a day you won’t soon forget.

Day 3: Swakopmund to Windhoek

On the final day of your tour, spend the morning enjoying Swakopmund's local attractions, such as visiting the markets, museums, or the famous Crystal Gallery. After a leisurely start, begin your return journey to Windhoek, passing through the vast and captivating Namib Desert once again. This coastal tour offers a rich mix of marine life, desert adventures, and cultural encounters, making it an ideal getaway to experience Namibia's unique landscape and coastal charm.
