My network adapter driver is a Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 Wireless Network Adapter. I have tried updating it to the latest version which is 12.0.0.709 which it still crashes on, going back to an older version which it still crashes on, going to a version which someone stated worked for them and it's still happening. I am severely frustrated at the issue stated above as I have wasted countless weeks trying to fix it and I am hoping someone in this community is capable of providing me with a proper fix for the issue above.

When I reassume my computer from a sleep, I observe sometimes that my wireless adapter is not working. The network connections icon in the system tray on Windows says 'Not connected - No connections available'. My wireless adapter, Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377, has this for the device status:

To recover, I have to shutdown the VM and disable and enable the wireless adapter from Device Manager. I am then able to see wireless networks. This does not work if the VM is running. When things are working properly, I don't have an issue connecting to the Internet either from my host or the VM.

This is a common problem with ASUS products with 802.11ac qualcomm wireless with Bluetooth 4.0 & 4.1. If the Bluetooth disappears from the device manager and reinstalling the drivers doesn't work, use a Bluetooth USB dongle, you can get one for 3.99-4.99 on Amazon. Attach it to your PC or other Windows device. This will install generic Bluetooth driver. Then reinstall qualcomm Bluetooth driver or update qualcomm Bluetooth driver if it now shows up in the device manager. Then remove the USB dongle, and reboot the PC. Your qualcomm Bluetooth will now work. I know it sucks to pay 3.99 to fix it, but trust me I had this problem for 2 months until I found this solution.

For whatever reason I was having the same issue. Here's my backstory. I was trying to hook-up my Raycon wireless earbuds to my PC so when I am recording my tutorial videos I can hear what I am saying (and to make sure the recording level is correct and there are no sound issues). When I went into Bluetooth settings there was no On/Off switch. So I spent hours trying to figure out how to get this On/Off switch back on my computer with ZERO luck. Then while researching this someone recommended I buy a USB Bluetooth adapter. That sounded awesome and a quick fix. Boy was I wrong. I went to install the drivers from the Targus website and received this error, "COULD NOT START MICROSOFT BLUETOOTH STACK. PLEASE REBOOT YOUR COMPUTER AND TRY AGAIN." ff782bc1db
