Qian Tao is Assistant Professor at the Department of Imaging Physics, Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands. She directs the TU Delft AI lab for Medical Imaging. Qian is affiliated with the Biomedical Imaging Group Rotterdam (BIGR), Department of Radiology & Nuclear Medicine, Erasmus Medical Center. 

Qian serves on the Editorial Board of the RSNA Journal Radiology: Artificial Intelligence. She is on the committee of the International SCMR Registry. Qian served as the Programme Chair and Area Chair for MICCAI and AAAI.

Before joining TU Delft, Qian was a researcher at LKEB, Department of Radiology, Leiden University Medical Center. She obtained her PhD from University of Twente, the Netherlands, and her MSc and BSc with Distinction from Fudan University, China.
