BUILD YOUR OWN QRM TEXTBOOK!
QRM OPEN is a collaborative initiative dedicated to building an open, flexible, and continuously evolving resource in
Quantitative Risk Management.
Designed with both educators and learners in mind, it combines a comprehensive textbook with ready-to-use Moodle exercises and lecture slides for academic courses.
As soon as the book is published, you’ll be able to access and download individual chapter sources—giving you the freedom to adapt, customize, and expand the material to create a textbook perfectly suited to your own teaching needs.
THE BOOK: QUANTITATIVE RISK MANAGEMENT: a brief course
If you are an instructor, you can request an evaluation copy of the book draft—ready to use in your QRM course—and send your comments and suggestions for the final edition. Your contribution will be gratefully acknowledged.

THE AUTHOR
Giovanni Puccetti is Professor of Quantitative Risk Management at the University of Milan, Italy. His research focuses on the mathematical foundations of risk aggregation under dependence uncertainty, with particular emphasis on deriving sharp bounds for sums and functions of dependent risks, as well as characterizing extremal dependence structures.
His collaborative work has contributed to the development of several algorithms in applied probability. Over the years, he has worked with leading scholars in the field, including Paul Embrechts, Ludger Rüschendorf, Steven Vanduffel, and Ruodu Wang, among others.
