The Application does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal information to external servers. All data processing occurs locally on your device using on-device machine learning. The Application accesses:
Camera - For real-time QR code and barcode scanning
Storage/Gallery - For saving generated codes and scanning saved images
Device information - Basic info for app functionality only
The Application does NOT track your location unless a QR code specifically contains location data (which you control).
Data Storage
All your data is stored locally on your device using secure Android storage:
Scan history of QR codes and barcodes
QR codes you generate within the app
App settings and preferences
This data never leaves your device.
Third Party Services
The Application does NOT use analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No data is shared with third parties except:
Google Play Services - Only for app updates and reviews
When you choose to open web links from scanned QR codes
When you choose to send feedback via email
Permissions
Required permissions:
Camera - Essential for scanning QR codes and barcodes
Storage/Media - Optional, for saving codes and gallery scanning
Internet - For URL validation and app updates only
Vibration - Optional, for scan feedback
You can revoke permissions anytime through device settings.
Your Control
You can:
Delete scan history anytime within the app
Uninstall the app to remove all data
Revoke permissions through device settings
Clear app data through device settings
Children's Privacy
The app does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. It is designed to be family-friendly. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us immediately.
Security
We protect your information through:
Local-only data processing (no cloud transmission)
Secure Android storage mechanisms
On-device machine learning (Google ML Kit)
No third-party data sharing
