Camera Permission (CAMERA)
Purpose: To collect real-time QR code and barcode images for scanning and recognition.
Information Processing Method: The image frame data collected by the camera is only temporarily processed locally on the device for decoding and recognition. After the recognition is completed, the temporary data is immediately destroyed and will not be stored or uploaded to any server.
Storage Permission (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE/WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE)
Purpose: ① Support selecting images from the device album for scanning and recognition; ② Save the QR code images you generated to the local device; ③ Store local cache data of scanning/generation records.
Information Processing Method: Only access the album images you actively select (for scanning), or store the generated QR code images and local record data to the specified directory of the device with your authorization. All data is only retained locally on your device and will not be uploaded.
(2) No Actively Collected Information
This App will not actively collect any of your personal identification information (such as name, phone number, ID card number, email address, etc.), device information (such as IMEI, device model, operating system version, MAC address, etc.), location information, network information, usage behavior data, etc. It will also not integrate any statistical analysis or advertising SDKs to collect the above information.
(3) Processing of Scanned and Generated Content
During your use of this App to scan QR codes and barcodes, the decoded content (such as URLs, Wi-Fi information, contacts, text, commodity codes, etc.) is only displayed and processed locally on the device and will not be collected or uploaded by us.
The content you input when generating QR codes using this App (such as website links, social media accounts, Wi-Fi information, etc.) is only used to generate QR code images locally. After the generation is completed, the input content is only retained in the local cache (for historical records) and will not be uploaded to any server.
2. Information Storage and Protection
(1) Storage Method and Location
All data generated by this App (including scanning history records, generated QR code images, generation records, etc.) is stored locally only on your mobile device and does not involve any cloud server storage. Storage relies on the local database (Hive) integrated into this App, and only you can access the data through this App.
(2) Storage Period
Locally stored data will be retained on your device for a long time until you actively delete it through the "Clear History" function in this App or uninstall this App (all locally stored data will be deleted simultaneously after uninstallation).
(3) Security Protection Measures
We adopt various technical means to ensure the security of your local data:
The local database supports encryption functions, which can encrypt stored historical records and other data to prevent illegal access by third-party apps;
Strictly follow the permission management mechanism—only this App can access locally stored data, and other apps cannot directly obtain it;
All data processing processes are completed locally on the device without network transmission links, avoiding data leakage risks from the source.
3. Permission Description
This App only applies for permissions necessary to implement core functions without redundant permission applications. You can manage these permissions in the device system settings at any time:
Camera Permission: After being disabled, the real-time scanning function of this App will not be available, but it will not affect functions such as scanning from the album, QR code generation, and viewing historical records;
Storage Permission: After being disabled, you cannot select images from the album for scanning or save generated QR code images, but it will not affect functions such as real-time scanning, local QR code generation (only unable to save), and viewing stored historical records.
Permission Application Timing: Permissions are only applied for when you use the corresponding function for the first time (e.g., apply for camera permission when you click "Scan" for the first time, and apply for storage permission when you click "Scan from Album" or "Save QR Code" for the first time). All permissions will not be applied for by default when the App is launched.
4. User Rights
Regarding the relevant data (historical records, etc.) stored locally in this App, you enjoy the following rights:
Right to View: You can view all scanning and generation records at any time through the "History" page of this App;
Right to Delete: You can delete a single record through the "Delete" button on the "History" page, or delete all records through the "Clear History" function;
Data Control Right: You can uninstall this App at any time. After uninstallation, all locally stored data will be completely deleted and cannot be recovered by us.
5. Third-Party Service Description
This App is a pure local offline application and does not integrate any third-party services (including but not limited to third-party SDKs, third-party payment, third-party statistics, third-party social sharing, etc.). It will not conduct data interaction with any third parties or provide any of your information to third parties.
Please note: If you jump to a third-party link (such as a webpage, third-party App, etc.) after scanning a QR code with this App, the information processing behavior of the third-party platform has no connection with this App. Please check its privacy policy separately.
6. Updates to the Privacy Policy
