MS Organisation operates the QR Code Scanner mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App and the choices you have associated with that data.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This App is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal information on any external servers.
The App requires access to your device's camera strictly for the purpose of scanning QR codes and barcodes in real time. We do not capture, record, or transmit any images or video from your camera over the internet.
The App may request access to your device's storage or photo gallery. This is used solely for:
Reading QR codes or barcodes from images you select.
Saving generated QR codes to your gallery.
Exporting and importing your scan history backups (as JSON or CSV files) to and from your local device storage. We do not upload your photos or files to any remote servers.
All data generated by the App, including your scan history and app preferences, is stored locally on your device using local databases and shared preferences. We have no access to this data. You have full control over this data and can delete or export it at any time from the settings menu.
The App only uses internet access when you explicitly choose to open a scanned URL or interact with a scanned web link. The App itself does not contain any analytics trackers, crash reporters, or third-party advertising SDKs that monitor your usage.
Since the App processes all data locally and does not incorporate third-party tracking or analytics SDKs, we do not share your data with any third-party services.
Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13, as we do not collect any personal information at all.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
