Qnap Transmission Qpkg Download

I would like to see utorrent out there for the QNAP community as well. Not sure if you guys can program that or not but there are a massive amount of people in that community that have been dying for this. In order to install into the QNAP easily however, it requires the package to be configured into its native .qpkg packaging. It is kind of like making a .rpm or .deb package.

You don't have to have a qpkg file to install software on a QNAP. I would imagine that the same installation procedure used for uTorrent on any other Linux would work for you also: download, untar, run.

this config from the first post was working for me until now too without any problems. After a nvidia driver update on qnap to the latest version the container don't want to start anymore. The error i get here is:

I tried to uninstall container-station, rebootet qnap, reinstall it and deploy the conatainer again without luck. Renamed the path where emby is installed, modiefied the yml-file --> also no luck with the same error. Is not possible for me to find out in which files the mounts are writen in to clean it up. There must be a comand or other workaround to solve this problem?? Think this will happen every time when new drivers are installed in future.

If you want to download ( legal) torrents on your Qnap but are put off by lack of magnetic link support, here is news. There are 2 very easy and fast ways to do this. There is very quick workaround to convert your magnet torrent link to a regular .torrent file using your favorite bit torrent client. And the other option is to install transmission using QPKG center and let it handle your magnetic link.

The pictures above is actually from the chrome extension Transmission easy client which I prefer, there are other great transmission clients as well (even great ones for your phone). This client I actually got to work with SSL encryption through a NGINX reverse proxy, more on that later.

If you want to connect to your transmission server from other places than your local home network, I strongly encourage you to use SSL encryption so the password is not sent open over the internet. There are many options on how to accomplish this, you could choose another Docker container with better support for SSL or as in my case use NGINX as a reverse proxy server in front of the Transmission server.

du musst nur zuerst das QPKG von optware installieren - dann transmission. that's all ich empfehle dir das neuste transmission QPKG im qnap forum zu holen: =221&t=44999 (x19 ist die richtige version fr dich). qnap schafft es nicht aktuelle versionen im administration interface zu verlinken (diverse QPKGs sind schon lngers veraltet)... daher ist forum.qnap.com - wo man auch die neusten pakete der community findet - immer eine gute anlaufstelle.

Hallo leute, habe seit 1 Woche mein 1. NAS und stehe mal wieder vor Problemen

Habe versucht, wie hier beschrieben die akt. Version 2.42 zu installieren und da bricht die Inst. sofort ab. Bei der Version 2.22 war ich etwas erfolgreicher, doch nur etwas. Wenn ich die Transmission Seite aufrufe steht dort "transmission is not running", beim bettigen des buttons unter App Starter "Start Transmission", erscheint eine leere Seite ( =English&restart=1).

En mi caso tengo transmission ejecutandose. Para pararlo, lo hacemos con kill y le indicamos el identificador del proceso. Este identificador se llama pid y es el numero que sale en la primera columna, en mi caso seria el 17549.
