QmzApps Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 16, 2026
This policy explains what data AltLife – Life Simulator ("AltLife", "the Game") and the partners built into it collect, why, how long it is kept, and the choices you have. QmzApps is one developer. We say "we" in this policy for simplicity.
Who is responsible for your data
Mark Benyei, sole proprietor, doing business as QmzApps
Bocskai utca 10/A, 4456 Tiszadob, Hungary
Email: qmzapps@gmail.com
We are the controller for the data described here. Our ad and analytics partners are also responsible for the data they collect under their own policies, linked below.
The short version
AltLife has no accounts. We never ask for your name, email address or phone number in the Game. Your saves stay on your device.
AltLife shows optional rewarded ads from ironSource Ads and Unity Ads. They collect device data to show and measure ads. Ads are not personalized unless you allow it in Settings.
If you agree, or if you live outside Europe and do not turn it off, AltLife sends usage data and crash reports to Google Firebase so we can fix problems and balance the Game.
We do not sell your personal data.
1. Data on your device
Your saved lives, settings and choices (such as your ad and usage-data choices and your acceptance of the Terms) are stored only on your device. We cannot see them. They are deleted when you delete the Game. Your phone's own backup (Google or iCloud) may copy them under that service's terms.
2. Ads (ironSource Ads and Unity Ads)
AltLife shows rewarded ads only when you choose to watch one. Ads are delivered by Unity's LevelPlay mediation service from two ad networks, ironSource Ads and Unity Ads, both run by Unity Technologies.
When an ad is requested or shown, these partners may collect:
your device's advertising ID (Google Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS if you allow tracking), and other device identifiers
your IP address, and a general location worked out from it
device details, such as model, operating system, language, screen size and network type
how you interact with ads, such as views, clicks and completions
They use this data to deliver ads, limit how often you see the same ad, prevent fraud, measure ad results and, only if you allow it, show personalized ads.
Your choices:
Personalized ads are off by default. Settings > Personalized ads lets you allow or refuse them for all partners or for each partner, and turn on "Do not sell or share my data". Your choice is sent to the ad partners. If personalized ads are off, you still see ads, but they are chosen without your personal profile.
On iOS, AltLife asks for Apple's tracking permission. You can change it at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
On Android, you can delete or reset your advertising ID in your phone's Settings > Google > Ads (on some phones: Settings > Privacy > Ads).

3. Usage data and crash reports (Google Firebase)
AltLife uses Google Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Remote Config.
What is sent:
game events, such as which screens you open, age ups, careers, how fights end, and your choices in the usage-data question
general facts about your game, such as whether you own Premium and how many lives you have played
crash reports and errors: what the game was doing, the error message, a short trail of recent game steps, your device model and operating system
data Firebase collects automatically: a random ID for this install of the Game, app version, device model, operating system, language, country (from your IP address), when you first opened the Game and how long sessions last, and in-app purchase events (the product and price, not your payment details)
This data is linked to the random install ID, not to your name or contact details. We use it to find and fix crashes, to see which parts of the Game work or are confusing, and to adjust game balance (Remote Config sends updated balance values to the Game). Firebase's advertising features are switched off: this data is not used for ads.
Your choices:
In the EU, EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland, AltLife asks you first. Nothing is sent until you say yes.
Everywhere else, sharing is on by default.
Anyone can turn it on or off at any time in Settings > Usage data. When it is off, no usage data, crash reports or balance updates are sent.
How long it is kept: Firebase Analytics keeps event data for 2 months. Crashlytics keeps crash reports for 90 days.

4. Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We receive confirmation of what you bought so the Game can unlock it, but never your name, card or payment details. Apple's and Google's privacy policies apply to the payment.
5. Emails you send us
If you email us, for example with "Report a bug", "Suggest a feature", "Email us", or "Report via email" after an error, we receive your email address and whatever you write. Bug and error reports made by the Game also include the Game version, your device's operating system and, for errors, the error message and recent game log lines. You can read and edit the email before you send it.
We use these emails only to answer you and fix problems. We keep them as long as needed for that, then delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them. Please do not send sensitive personal information by email.
6. Legal bases (EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland)
Personalized ads and usage data in Europe: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time in Settings, without affecting what was done before.
Non-personalized ads, ad measurement and fraud prevention: our legitimate interest in funding a free game, and the ad partners' own legal bases described in their policy.
Crash reports and usage data outside Europe: our legitimate interest in keeping the Game working and fair. You can object at any time by turning off Settings > Usage data.
Purchases: performing our contract with you.
Emails: answering your request.
7. Who receives data
Unity Technologies (LevelPlay, ironSource Ads, Unity Ads), for ads.
Google (Firebase), for usage data, crash reports and balance updates.
Apple and Google, for purchases and app store services.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else, except where the law requires.
8. International transfers
Google and Unity may process data in the United States and other countries outside Europe. They protect it with the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or, where they are certified, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive a copy, and to withdraw consent. In California and other US states, you can also ask what we collect, ask for deletion, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" with Settings > Personalized ads > "Do not sell or share my data". We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Because the Game has no accounts, the quickest way to stop collection is the switches in Settings. To ask about data held by Firebase or the ad partners, email us. You can also contact Unity directly through its policy above.
If you live in the EU or EEA, you can complain to your local data protection authority. In Hungary this is the Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH), https://naih.hu.
10. Children
AltLife is not directed to children under 13. It contains mature themes, and you must be old enough for the age rating shown in your app store to play. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Security
We use the security of our partners and store only what is needed. Only the developer can read emails sent to us. If a breach affects data we hold, we will tell affected players and authorities as the law requires.
12. Links to other sites
The Game links to sites we do not run, such as Discord, Reddit, Instagram and our partners' policies. Their own privacy policies apply.
13. Discord Premium role
On our official AltLife Discord server, you can choose to show a moderator proof of purchase to get a "Premium" role. This is optional. Moderators do not keep the proof after the role is given. Discord's privacy policy applies to messages and files on Discord. Please hide any personal details on the screenshot.
14. Changes
We will update this policy when the Game or the law changes, and change the date at the top. For important changes, the Game will also tell you.
