Welcome to my personal webpage.

I am Qirui Wang, Vice President and Chief Optical Engineer at AiMiLight Sensors and Intelligent Systems Inc. (AiMiLi Inc.). My work focuses on developing and commercializing distributed fiber optic interrogator systems and sensing cables. 

I hold a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, where I had the privilege of studying under Dr. Kevin Chen. My research centered on cutting-edge optical sensing technologies. Prior to this, I earned an M.S. in Instrumentation Science and Technology from Beihang University, where I collaborated with Dr. Peiling Cui on advanced control algorithms to mitigate harmonic current and vibrations in magnetically suspended systems. My academic journey began with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Automation from Beijing University of Technology, where I developed a strong foundation in mechanical design and engineering.

My interdisciplinary background bridges optical, mechanical, and control systems engineering, enabling me to contribute to both academia and industry. You can explore my research and publications on Google Scholar and ResearchGate.
