Qian Guo's Homepage
Hi! I am Qian Guo (郭骞), currently a Universitetslektor (Associate Professor) at the crypto and security group, Lund University. My research interests include information security, cryptography, and cryptographic implementations. Now I am focusing on (i) the practical aspects of post-quantum cryptography and (ii) the connections between cryptography and machine learning -- such as employing machine learning in side-channel attacks and homomorphic encryption for secure (privacy-preserving) machine learning.
My current research is partially supported by the Swedish Research Council (VR), the Crafoord Foundation, and the Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program (WASP) funded by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation.
I received a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Lund University, Sweden, in Dec. 2016, and a B.S. in Mathematics from Fudan University, China, in Jun. 2010. I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Selmer Center, Department of Informatics, Universitet of Bergen, Bergen, Norway, and a Postdoctoral Researcher in the ICTEAM/ELEN/Crypto Group, Universite Catholique de Louvain, Belgium.
