If you want a robust, adjustable mounting solution to securely hold your backup camera on the windshield or dashboard of a hybrid car, choose QEUOBUE Car Rear Camera; if you need a simple, self-adhesive rain shield to keep your existing lens clear during downpours, choose Yiwview Car Rear View.
• QEUOBUE Car Rear Camera: Its biggest strength is the versatile 180-degree angle adjustment and universal compatibility with SUVs, RVs, and trucks, but it requires screws and tape for installation. This pick is for drivers who need a stable, custom-fit mount that doesn't block their view.
• Yiwview Car Rear View: Its biggest strength is the instant 30-second installation and specialized design to stop raindrops from blurring the lens, but it only covers the lens rather than holding the camera itself. This pick is for drivers who already have a mounted camera and just need protection from bad weather.
The QEUOBUE Car Rear Camera Holder is designed as a foundational piece of hardware for anyone looking to secure a backup camera without drilling holes into their vehicle permanently. The core of its value lies in its structural design: a support-type structure that uses strong adhesive backing combined with a metal plate secured by screws. This dual-method approach suggests a system built for stability. In my experience analyzing these types of mounts, the ability to use both screws and high-quality double-sided tape is crucial for preventing the device from vibrating loose while driving over rough terrain.
For owners of larger vehicles like SUVs, RVs, or trucks, this unit offers significant flexibility. The product supports a full 0-180 degree multi-angle adjustment. This means you are not stuck with a fixed viewing angle determined by where the factory decided to put the camera. Instead, you can tilt the mount to find the optimal shooting angle based on the specific tilt of your window glass or your actual installation position. This level of control is essential for ensuring that when you reverse, you see exactly what is behind you, whether that is a low bumper or a tall trailer.
However, this product is not for everyone. It is strictly a mounting bracket, not a camera itself. You must confirm that your reversing camera comes equipped with metal mounting screws to work with this holder. If your camera lacks these screws, this mount will be useless to you. If you have a rear windshield with heavy black-tinted film, the image quality might be affected regardless of how well you mount the camera, so you need to consider your glass tint before buying.

The Yiwview Car Rear View Backup Camera Rain Cover serves a very different, highly specific purpose: it is an accessory designed to protect an already installed camera from the elements. Unlike the QEUOBUE mount which builds the foundation, this product is a shield. Its primary function is to stop raindrop blur. When you are backing up during a storm, water droplets hit the plastic cover instead of the glass lens, rolling off rather than sticking. This ensures a sharp, unobstructed view when visibility is most critical.
This product is ideal for drivers who live in areas with frequent rain or snow and are frustrated by the foggy, streaky images that plague standard backup cameras. The material is described as durable plastic that seals out moisture effectively. It does not require any tools or complex assembly. The installation process is straightforward: clean the area, peel off the backing, and press for 30 seconds. This self-adhesive bond is designed to last through various climates, yet it can be removed later without leaving residue. This makes it a perfect "set and forget" upgrade for someone who wants to improve their safety in bad weather without spending hours re-doing their entire camera setup.
It is important to note the limitations of this product. It is a single unit meant to fit most cars with flat or slightly curved mounting surfaces, including sedans, SUVs, and trucks. However, it does not provide any structural support for the camera itself. If your camera is loose or needs repositioning, this rain guard will not help. Furthermore, because it is a small, thin shield (dimensions listed as roughly 3x3x3 mm for the item details, though the visor extends further), it is purely an environmental protector. If you do not have a camera mounted yet, or if your camera is not compatible with the adhesive surface, this product cannot stand alone. It is strictly an add-on for clarity, not a solution for mounting.
• Best for Stability and Positioning → QEUOBUE Car Rear Camera: If your camera is wobbling or you need to change the angle to avoid blind spots, the adjustable bracket is the only choice.
• Best for Rain Protection → Yiwview Car Rear View: If your camera is already secure but your view gets blurry when it rains, this rain guard is the direct solution.
• Best for DIY Simplicity → Yiwview Car Rear View: No tools, no screws, just peel and stick in 30 seconds compared to the multi-step screw-and-tape process of the QEUOBUE.
• Best for Larger Vehicles → QEUOBUE Car Rear Camera: The wide compatibility and robust mounting structure specifically mention SUVs and RVs where vibration and wind resistance are higher.
• Best for Custom Angles → QEUOBUE Car Rear Camera: With 0-180 degree adjustment, you can tailor the view to your specific vehicle geometry, whereas the rain guard has a fixed orientation.
• Best for Immediate Weather Fixes → Yiwview Car Rear View: If you have a rainy weekend coming up and your current camera is failing you, this is the fastest fix available.
In my opinion, the choice between these two products depends entirely on what problem you are trying to solve today. If you are installing a new backup camera system or struggling to get your current camera positioned correctly, the QEUOBUE Car Rear Camera is the superior investment. It provides the mechanical stability and angular flexibility required for safe driving in a variety of vehicle types. However, if your camera is already mounted firmly and you simply hate backing up in the rain because your view is obscured, the Yiwview Car Rear View is the smarter, more targeted purchase. I would personally buy the QEUOBUE unit first for a hybrid car setup where precise positioning matters, as it solves the root issue of installation and stability, which then allows you to layer on accessories like the rain guard later if needed.
Yes, the QEUOBUE product is a holder only. You must provide your own reversing camera that has metal mounting screws to attach to the bracket.
No, the self-adhesive design is intended to bond instantly and remove later without leaving residue, protecting the camera without damaging the finish.
No, the Yiwview unit is a fixed shield designed to cover the lens area once adhered. If you need to change the camera's viewing angle, you would need the adjustable QEUOBUE mount.
The manufacturer warns that if the rear windshield has black-tinted film, it may affect the shooting image quality, so you should check your glass before relying on the visual output.
