Quality Educator Interactive to Close Its Doors

Well-known Wisconsin educator licensing website shutting down August 24, 2018

[Sun Prairie, WISCONSIN, August 14, 2018] The Quality Educator Interactive Website, more commonly known as The QEI, will be closing its doors at the end of the business day on August 24, 2018. Since July, 2005, the QEI has served over 50,000 educators in Wisconsin, across the country and across the globe.

The QEI website will be open to anyone with a username and password through August 24th. Educators are encouraged to access their accounts by that date to download and save any documents, professional development plans, and other data they have stored in their QEI accounts. After that date, the website will no longer be accessible.

In addition, educators who have used the QEI to obtain electronically certified semesters of experience to move from the Provisional to Lifetime educator license tier in Wisconsin should print out their Semester Certification History and keep a copy for their records. Educators who have obtained six semesters of experience at the Provisional level using the QEI’s system should print off their certificate to demonstrate successful completion the required six semesters.

The QEI will not be available for licensing or support after August 24th. Licensing questions should continue to be sent to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
