If you want deep, immersive noise cancellation and ultra-low latency for gaming or travel, choose QCY MeloBuds N65; if you need maximum battery endurance with a bundle of two distinct earbud models and powerful bass-driven sound, choose SoundPEATS Air6.
• QCY MeloBuds N65: Delivers 60dB AI Adaptive ANC with spatial audio tracking, but the case is slightly larger and it is sold as a single unit rather than a bundle. Best for audiophiles who prioritize silence and immersive features.
• SoundPEATS Air6: Offers a massive 45–52 hour total playtime across two different models (Air6 HS and C30) with triple-magnet drivers, though the noise cancellation caps at 52dB and lacks head-tracking. Best for users who want longevity and value through a multi-pack.
• The Verdict on Use Case: For fishing, the QCY offers superior wind noise blocking while the SoundPEATS provides longer listening sessions without charging.
The QCY MeloBuds N65 are engineered for the person who demands total control over their sonic environment. With an AI Adaptive Noise Cancellation system that reaches up to 60dB, these in-ear headphones go beyond standard blocking. They cover a wide frequency range up to 5.5kHz, which means they tackle not just low rumbles but also higher-pitched chatter and wind noise effectively. This makes them particularly compelling for someone sitting by a river or lake where wind can be unpredictable. The inclusion of an IMU sensor is a standout feature; it tracks your head movements in real time to create a spatial audio experience that feels like you are inside a theater or a concert hall. If you care about music details, the LDAC Hi-Res Audio support streaming at 990 kbps ensures that the full depth of your favorite tracks is restored, not compressed.
For those who spend hours commuting or working in noisy offices, the call quality is equally impressive. An eight-microphone noise reduction system isolates your voice, ensuring that video chats and phone calls remain crystal clear even when background noise is heavy. The Bluetooth 6.0 chip supports triple-device connection, meaning you can seamlessly switch between your phone, tablet, and laptop without re-pairing. The 45ms ultra-low latency is another critical factor for gamers or streamers who cannot tolerate audio delay. You get 11 hours of playback on a single charge with ANC off, and 6.5 hours with it active, totaling 50 hours with the case. A quick 10-minute charge gives you 2.5 hours of listening time, which is perfect for catching a few minutes of peace before heading out. The IPX5 waterproof rating ensures they handle sweat and rain, making them durable enough for outdoor activities.
However, this product might not be for everyone. It is a single-unit purchase, so you do not get a second pair of buds included in the box. The design relies on a plastic enclosure with an excimer coating to resist fingerprints, which is functional but not luxurious. If you prefer a lighter, more compact case, the dimensions here are slightly bulkier compared to some minimalist competitors. Also, while the ANC is powerful, it requires the use of the QCY Audio App for customization, adding a small step for setup. If you are looking for a simple, no-fuss pair of earbuds without needing spatial audio or head tracking, this might feel like overkill. But for the specific needs of blocking wind and chatter while enjoying high-fidelity sound, it stands out.

The SoundPEATS Air6 bundle is designed for the user who prioritizes battery life and raw power above all else. This isn't just one pair of earbuds; it is a 2-pack bundle featuring the Air6 HS and the C30 models, giving you variety in how you listen. The Air6 HS utilizes a custom-engineered 13mm driver with a triple-magnet neodymium magnetic circuit. This setup drastically increases magnetic flux, resulting in a powerful driving force and lightning-fast transient response. If you love bass-heavy genres or want to hear every nuance in a drumbeat, this driver configuration delivers a punchy, dynamic sound that feels premium. Like the QCY, it supports LDAC Hi-Res Audio certified by the Japan Audio Society, allowing for 24bit/96kHz transmission that carries three times more data than standard Bluetooth. This ensures pristine audio quality for those who refuse to compromise on fidelity.
Battery life is where this bundle truly shines. The Air6 HS offers 9 hours on a single charge with an additional 36 hours from the case, totaling 45 hours. The accompanying C30 model goes even further, offering 10 hours per charge and 42 hours from its case, reaching a staggering 52 hours total. Both models feature fast charging that provides 3 hours of playback from just a 10-minute charge. This makes them ideal for long trips, busy lifestyles, or anyone who hates the anxiety of a dying battery. The C30 model includes Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling that adapts intelligently to block up to 92% of low-frequency noises like airplane hums and city traffic. While the ANC cap is 52dB compared to the QCY's 60dB, it is still highly effective for maintaining focus during work or commutes. The IPX5 resistance on the Air6 and IP54 on the C30 ensure durability against sweat and splashes.
This bundle is less about advanced features like head-tracking and more about getting the most out of your money. You get two pairs of earbuds with different strengths—one focused on driver size and bass, the other on extended battery and hybrid ANC. However, it lacks the spatial audio tracking found in the QCY, meaning the soundstage won't move with your head. The Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity is robust, supporting multi-point connections, but the overall package is heavier due to the inclusion of two cases and multiple earbud sets. If you are a traveler or a fisherman who needs to go days without charging, this is the logical choice. But if you need the absolute highest level of noise isolation and immersive tech, the single-unit QCY might offer a more refined experience despite the lower total battery count.
• Best for Battery Life → SoundPEATS Air6 (Up to 52 hours total across the bundle).
• Best for Noise Cancellation → QCY MeloBuds N65 (60dB adaptive ANC vs 52dB on SoundPEATS).

• Best Value Bundle → SoundPEATS Air6 (Includes two distinct models: Air6 HS and C30).
• Best for Wind Blocking → QCY MeloBuds N65 (AI Adaptive ANC covers wider frequency range for wind/chatter).
• Best for Travel Commute → SoundPEATS Air6 (Longer playtime reduces charging stops).
After weighing the specifications and use cases, I would personally buy the QCY MeloBuds N65 if my primary goal was silence and immersion. The 60dB ANC combined with spatial audio tracking creates a cocoon of sound that the SoundPEATS bundle simply cannot match. However, if I were planning a long fishing trip where I might not have access to a charger for days, I would grab the SoundPEATS Air6 bundle for the sheer endurance of 52 hours.
For the specific use case of fishing, the QCY MeloBuds N65 is the stronger recommendation. Fishing often involves being near water with unpredictable wind and boat noise. The AI Adaptive ANC on the QCY targets a wider frequency range, specifically helping to dampen wind and chatter better than the SoundPEATS' 52dB limit. Plus, the spatial audio keeps you engaged with your music or podcast even when the ambient noise tries to intrude. The 45ms latency also ensures that if you watch fishing tutorials or videos on your phone, the audio stays perfectly synced. While the SoundPEATS offers great battery life, the superior noise management of the QCY makes it the best open ear earbuds for fishing in terms of clarity and focus, provided you don't mind the slightly shorter battery cycle.
Yes, both models are suitable. The QCY MeloBuds N65 excels at blocking wind noise with its 60dB AI Adaptive ANC, while the SoundPEATS Air6 offers longer battery life for all-day trips.
The bundle includes two models: the Air6 HS has a larger 13mm triple-magnet driver for powerful bass, while the C30 focuses on extended 52-hour battery life with hybrid ANC.
Both the QCY MeloBuds N65 and the SoundPEATS Air6 support LDAC Hi-Res Audio, allowing for lossless wireless transmission at high bitrates for audiophile-quality sound.
The SoundPEATS Air6 bundle wins on total duration with up to 52 hours across two devices, whereas the QCY MeloBuds N65 offers up to 50 hours from a single set of earbuds and its case.
