The Queens College SEEK Writing Center (qcseekwritingcenter@qc.cuny.edu) offers two options for online writing consultations: General Revision and Video Consultation. Both services MUST be requested 72 hours in advance.

General Revision

You can email your paper and assignment instructions and receive comments, revision strategies and a paragraph of feedback.

Please attach papers as .doc or .docx.

Name your files appropriately to simplify identification:

Class-LastNameFirstName-AssignmentName.doc

For Example:

ENG162w-LastNameFirstName-Paper 1.doc

HIST103-LastNameFirstName-ReadingResponse 3.docx

Note: This is not a proofreading service. Grammar errors will be highlighted with an explanation for students to revise in their final drafts.

Video Consultation

You will sit down with a Writing Consultant on a CUNY authorized Zoom video call. A 30-minute consultation may be scheduled based on Consultant availability. Please consult the Video Consultation Schedule.

A Video Consultation is not guaranteed UNTIL you have received a confirmation notice from the SEEK Writing Center.
