About Me:

Qingchao is now an Assistant Professor at Peking University and the honorary researcher at the University of Oxford, Department of Engineering Science. He was a postdoc researcher at University of Oxford, working with Prof. Alison Noble and the amazing international collaboration team in THSTI in India. He got the Ph.D. degree from University College London (UCL) and his BSc. in Telecommunication with Management from the joint program of Queen Mary, University of London and Beijing University of Post and Telecommunication in 2013. His research interests and areas include:

  • Medical imaging analysis, navigation using machine learning techniques

  • Cross-modal retrieval and multi-modal learning

  • Deep transfer learning for computer vision and RF signatures

  • Radar sensor design

  • MIMO radar and phased array design

  • RF sensing for human activity recognition

  • RF sensing for signs-of-life detection
