Congratulations! Eric Silberberg recently own the 2021 SALALM Conference Scholarship. He will participate in a panel with the 2020 scholarship recipients to present his current projects.
Eric Silberberg is currently a Library and Information Science graduate student at Queens College of the City University of New York. Before enrolling, he was an instructor and researcher at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, Tehuacán. He is especially proud of his work performing with and documenting musicians in the region and is interested in the relationship between Mexican music and social history. This past semester he enjoyed two student positions at CUNY TV and Bronx Community College Archives.
