Sheena Philogene is a Reference and Instruction Librarian at Brooklyn College. She earned her MLS from Queens College in 2018 and is currently pursuing a Master’s in GeoInformatics from Hunter College. Building off of the work done during her capstone project, Sheena has published an article in Urban Library Journal.Sheena’s article, “Twitter Use by Academic Libraries in New York State,” explores whether academic libraries in New York have Twitter accounts, how they use their accounts, and what kinds of content they post.
