Congratulations to Carrie Jedlicka and John Bendall, who both were awarded $1,500 stipends from the Center for Career Engagement and Internships "to provide financial assistance to Queens College students who are participating in unpaid internships in the arts, education, public service, non-profit agencies."Carrie will be interning at the American Natural History Museum library and archives, and John will be interning at the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) under supervision of our very own Prof. Carey Stumm.Students, please keep an eye out for future calls for applications for this program! (The deadline to apply for this round of stipends has passed). GSLIS students have had a fairly high success rate in being awarded stipends over the past two years that the program has been offered.
Also, if you also received a stipend this round please respond directly to Dr. Johnathan Thayer and let him know.
