Congratulations to the Citi Center for Culture + Queens Library fellowship program, which just completed its sixth year (!) with a reception at Maple Grove Cemetery to celebrate the work of this year's fellows: GSLIS students Lewis Tio (MLS/MA Dual Degree) and Carrie Jedlicka (Archives Certificate).
Lewis and Carrie worked with Kerri Anne Burke at Citi to process corporate records, and with Natalie Milbrodt, Queens Memory, and community partners to successfully secure grant funding for a preservation needs assessment of Maple Grove Cemetery's archival holdings. They were able to apply their fieldwork towards 6 credits of coursework each this year as students in LBSCI795: Internship and LBSCI791: Independent Study.
Congratulations! And many thanks to Kerri Anne and Natalie for leading this excellent fellowship program, which will run again next AY for its seventh year.
