Congratulations to GSLIS and MLS/MA student Obden Mondesir, who has been selected as the West African Research Association WARC Library Fellow for 2017!! This position includes a residency at the WARC library in Dakar, Senegal during Summer 2017. Obden describes the work below: "I will be assisting with the operations of the WARC library under the supervision of Library Director Ms. Adama Diouf at the University of Cheikh Anta Diop. My main responsibility will be to create digital records for new acquisitions and draft a collection development policy that establishes standards for the types of donations the library will accept."
