Tricks, Tips, and Tidbits from a Therapist
When I write, I strive to be as helpful and informative as possible. I went to 7 years of college to learn my craft and have been practicing since the summer of 2015. I consider myself a life-long learner and will continue to be a student until the day they throw dirt in my face. It brings me joy and excitement to share my passion for psychology and therapy with people.
That being said, these entries should be read with a grain of salt. Every case, every child, every person's circumstances are different and new research is being churned out every day. A lot of what a therapist does or says in session (and out) is nuanced and rarely a one-size-fits-all.
Think of the following entries as general information and food for thought rather than prescriptive "free therapy". If you'd like more information about a particular entry or would like to suggest an entry, feel free to send me an email at email@example.com.
