QB Chrome Screenshot Free Extension ("the Extension") is developed by QB Premium Supports. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our Extension.

The Extension does NOT collect any of the following:

Browsing history or activity
Screenshots or images you capture

The Extension operates entirely on your local device:
Screenshot Capture: When you click the capture button, the Extension uses Chrome's built-in API to capture the visible portion of the current tab.
Image Processing: Timestamps and watermarks are added locally in your browser using HTML5 Canvas.
File Download: The processed screenshot is downloaded directly to your device's default download folder.
All processing happens locally on your computer. No data is ever sent to external servers.
The Extension requires only one Chrome permission:
activeTab: This permission allows the Extension to capture a screenshot of the currently active tab when you click the Extension button. This permission is only activated when you explicitly click the Extension icon.
The Extension does not store any data. Your settings (timestamp preference, format selection) are not persisted and reset to defaults each time you open the Extension popup.
The Extension does not use any third-party services, analytics, tracking tools, or external APIs. There are no advertisements within the Extension.
Since we do not collect any data, we do not share any data with third parties.
The Extension does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13 years of age. The Extension is a simple utility tool that processes all data locally.
Since no data is collected or transmitted, there is no risk of data breach from our Extension. Your screenshots remain entirely on your local device under your control.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Since we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data for us to provide, correct, or delete. You have full control over any screenshots you take, which are stored only on your device.
