SnowCD leverages the Snowflake hostname IP addresses and ports listed by either the SYSTEM$ALLOWLIST() or SYSTEM$ALLOWLIST_PRIVATELINK() functions to run a series of connection checks to evaluate and help troubleshoot the network connection to Snowflake.

If your Snowflake account uses private connectivity to the Snowflake service, execute theSYSTEM$ALLOWLIST_PRIVATELINK function to obtain the Snowflake hostname IP address and ports to evaluateand troubleshoot network connections to Snowflake.

Users can leverage SnowCD to evaluate the network connection to Snowflake at any time to verify the required configuration settings are correct. For example, users can integrate SnowCD into these use cases:

Troubleshooting one or more network connection issues is challenging. Depending on the environment, it may be necessary to use SnowCD with other troubleshooting approaches. For example, if SnowCD returns information on an OCSP issue, consult the OCSP sections on this page.

The Network Diagnostics Tool enables Azure Communication Services developers to ensure that their device and network conditions are optimal for connecting to the service to ensure a great call experience. The tool can be found at aka.ms/acsdiagnostics. Users can quickly run a test, by pressing the start test button. The tool performs diagnostics on the network, devices, and call quality. The results of the diagnostics are directly provided through the tools UI. No sign-in required to use the tool. After the test, a GUID is presented which can be provided to our support team for further help.

As part of the diagnostics performed, the user is asked to enable permissions for the tool to access their devices. Next, the tool performs an audio and video test to measure the audio and video network conditions.

When a user runs a network diagnostic, the tool collects and store service and client telemetry data to verify your network conditions and ensure that they're compatible with Azure Communication Services.

The tool gives you helpful information about your Connect version, OS browser, and whether Connect is compatible with your browser. If Connect does not launch or transfer on one browser try the tool on multiple browsers.

Your antivirus software could be causing your SMTP connection issues.  Solution:  try disabling the software and connect to your SMTP relay server again. If this does not work, then move to the next cause.

A firewall can also be a common cause of SMTP connection issues.  Solution:  Try disabling your firewalls then reconnecting. If that works, it means that you need to update your firewall settings.

If the issue does not appear to be related to your ISP, antivirus software, or firewall, then there could be a deeper issue with your application. Try using our SMTP test tool to help diagnose the issue.

Annoyingly during the update the hub entered the same "connection refused state".... Sounds like a weekend job... Definitely sounds like an anomalie given the lack of chat around the issue, which is promising.

I can access the hub via the diagnostic tool in the HE mobile app using the MAC address for the hub, even when I am unable to access the hub through the web UI or mobile app. The diagnostic tool has allowed me to reboot / shutdown the hub when needed.

not exactly what i was looking for

I am aware of this site.

I want to check MY route to Tranquility, specifically health of MY connection to Eve.

Eve Launcher used to have this diagnostic tool. I dont see it anymore.

Attached are the outputs from the zoo diagnostic checks, first from my successful attempt to connect, followed by two outputs from his diagnostic check, and a screenshot where the diagnostic tool says connection successfuly while Rhino fails to get the license.

We now have a Mesh network built using RBK50 and RBS50Y devices! Occasionally, I see that the RBS50Y disconnects and automatically reconnects. I see this by the change of color from blue->magenta and back to blue. Our plan is now "move" the extender to a closer location to see if the situation improves. However, I want an objective method of measuring whether the new location is more robust. I am thinking there should be some diagnostic tool that can tell how many times the extender lost connection during a 24-hour window - this way I can run the test at 2 different locations to compare. Any suggestions on how to do the same?

Intermittent issues are difficult to diagnose. It is frustrating that the Orbi product does not log satellite connections. (My guess is, "what's the point?" Satellites are supposed to sync and remain sync'd as long as there is electricity.) As far as diagnostic tools, it depends on what resources are available and the duration of these events.

_ping_tool.html The fastest it can Ping is once per second. The benefit of this tool is that you can set it to ping many IP addresses at the same time. And, the tool can be set to write only the failures to a log file, which means no searching through thousands of lines of text to find missed pings.

Follow a formalized routine when troubleshooting networks:\n\nIdentify the problem.\nMake an educated guess of the possible cause of the problem.\nExplore the system to check whether your idea is valid.\nIdentify system elements in error; plan and implement remediation steps.\nCheck that the solution worked and change procedures to prevent the problem from happening again.\nDocument the problem, the solution, and recommendations for procedural change.\n\nSteps 2 and 3 might need to be carried out recursively until you hit the problem. The documentation step is ongoing throughout the troubleshooting process with note-taking to contribute to an accurate record once the entire process is complete.\n","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"David Zomaya","description":"David is a CompTIA Network+ certified technical writer.
