DISCUSSION
Empathy is the ability to feel and understand the pain of another person.
Empathy is not only understanding but putting oneself in the other person's place.
There are ways in which empathy can be shown;
Express how you feel about person's feelings.
Repeat or paraphrase what the person said so he or she will know you understand how he or she feels.
Here is a situation for you to analyze.
While going to the school canteen, you noticed your classmate was alone and looked very sad. Her uniform is quite untidy, her hair is not well combed, and her pair of shoes is already worn.
