Dear Youth Pastor,
We so appreciate all that you do to serve our youth in your regular role and we are very grateful for the extra effort it takes to attend a weekend like this one.
To help your kids make the best memories and to grow spiritually, we wanted to provide some "best practices", so that we are all unified in our approach to this weekend.
Please register all your youth leaders (including yourself, counted as 1), as it helps us balance our budget and plan properly. We have established a leader ratio of 1:10 and we will offer you the leader rate at that ratio, with a minimum of two (one male, one female) no matter the ratio. We encourage you to do your best to have one male and one female leader so that all of your kids' needs can be easily addressed. We understand this may be impossible for smaller groups.
Please make sure you or an appointed leader is available for the whole weekend as you will be leading your youth in:
Small group discussions after each lesson
The rec activity on Saturday afternoon (it needs adult supervision)
Discussions regarding the breakout sessions that they participated in
We are finding it necessary this fall to tighten up our registration process to ensure we can continue to offer everyone a wonderful, affordable experience.
Our pricing is as follows:
Early Bird Registration: $90 (Early bird deadline TBD)
Regular Registration: $110
Graduate / Leader: $80
Youth Leaders: $50 (includes youth pastor and youth leaders to a ratio of 1:10,
additional youth leaders above that amount will need to pay the regular Graduate / Leader rate).
Friday Night Only: please ask
Saturday Only: please ask
We will keep an eye on registrations and let you know three weeks before where your youth numbers are at and how many youth leaders you will need to/be eligible to register at the Youth Leader rate. We will update you again on the Sunday evening before PYPA.
This new policy helps us cover all of our food, recreation, transportation (if needed), speakers (both main and session) and miscellaneous costs. All of these registration options will be available as soon as possible. We are committed to keeping our costs low and manageable and appreciate your assistance by registering all of your youth leaders appropriately.
We are pleased to provide you a spot to register all of your youth, if that is easiest for you and your group. If you, as a youth pastor, are registering some or all of your kids, please include their information here (coming soon). If they are graduating this year, please include a home mailing address for them so that we can send them a card at the end of the year.
This year we are accepting e-transfers, which may be of benefit to you and your church. Please use this email to send the e-transfers to: pypaalberta@gmail.com
If you are in need of an invoice or a receipt, for your treasurer, please let us know and we can send one to you.
As you can see, on this new website, we are linking older photos and would love to have access to older videos as well. If you have any of these stored on your computers, please share them with us. We previously didn't have a central place for storing documents/videos but we would love to save these on our new Google drive for future years.
