This privacy policy describes how Password Quest ("we", "our", or "the App") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application.
Password Quest does not require account creation or login. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal contact information.
Game progress — Your level completion status, coins, and achievements are stored locally on your device using local storage.
Anonymous install identifier — On first launch the App generates a random identifier and stores it on your device. It is not derived from your device hardware, advertising ID, or any personal information.
Daily challenge results — Your success/failure result is sent to our server, together with the anonymous install identifier, to calculate the community success percentage displayed to all players. Our server stores only the daily totals.
Usage analytics and crash reports — Gameplay events (such as levels started, won, or failed, attempts and time taken, in-game tool use, and ads shown) and error reports are sent to our analytics provider together with the anonymous install identifier, so we can improve the App and fix bugs.
Purchase information — If you subscribe to Premium, your subscription status is processed so the App can unlock Premium features.
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the App. AdMob may collect and use certain information to serve ads, including:
Device identifiers (e.g., advertising ID)
IP address
Device and usage data
For more information about how Google uses data, please review Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from apps that use their services.
We use PostHog (hosted in the European Union) to collect the usage analytics and crash reports described in section 1.2. See PostHog's Privacy Policy.
Premium subscription payments are processed by Google Play. We never receive your payment details. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Game progress data (level completion, coins, achievements, settings) is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. Usage analytics are stored by PostHog, and subscription status by RevenueCat and Google Play.
We do not sell or trade your personal information. Data is shared only as described in this policy: with AdMob for advertising purposes, and with PostHog, RevenueCat, and Google Play, which process data on our behalf to operate the App.
Password Quest is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require any personal data input.
Game progress data is stored locally on your device and can be cleared by uninstalling the App or clearing the app's data through your device settings. Analytics data is kept only as long as needed to operate and improve the App, and then deleted.
Uninstalling the App or clearing its data deletes your game progress and discards the anonymous install identifier, so any analytics data previously collected can no longer be linked to you.
You can manage your ad personalization preferences through your device's Google Settings > Ads menu.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
