PUUC B&B for MacDowell Medal Day Weekend
Peterborough Unitarian Universalist Congregation (PUUC)is offering places to stay for the MacDowell Colony Medal Day. The rate for a one night stay, Saturday night through Sunday morning is $120 at any of the PUUC venues.
This PUUC fundraiser offers accommodation for the MacDowell Medal Day, but is not affiliated with the MacDowell Colony.

Our home is located on a quiet road where you will be surrounded by woods while listening to the birds, crickets and frogs. You will be less than ten minutes from Peterborough with many restaurants and shops to explore as well as less than ten minutes from the MacDowell Colony.
Room and Facilities
You will have a private entrance leading into a large seating area. Continue into the spacious bedroom (king sized bed) and private bathroom with shower. Both the seating area and bedroom have walk-out glass doors that allow you to view our flower and vegetable gardens. Wifi provided.
Arrive to light refreshment and a beverage, rise to a full breakfast. Dinner on your own at one of our wonderful local restaurants (reservations recommended).
Dan and Debbie are retired and busy enjoying everything from hiking, cycling, swimming, entertaining and travelling. We can provide advice on the area or allow you total privacy. You are welcome here.

Serenity and gardens abound at our Cape style home on a quiet street. Our home is warm and friendly, with a hot tub and an outdoor shower for your enjoyment. We are a 1/2 mile walk from the Contoocook River where herons and an occasional bald eagle can often be observed. Two friendly kitties share our home. which is eleven miles from the Colony.
Room and Facilities
We have 2 bedrooms available, each with a queen sized bed. Both are on the main floor, with a full bath to share. Hosts have a bedroom and full bath upstairs. We do not have air conditioning, but fans and open windows typically provide adequate summertime comfort.

Tom is a retired Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapist with a background in Guidance Counseling, He enjoys volunteering as a Board member at the GrapeVine early childhood and family resource center. He is also a proud Dad and Grandpops to 6 grandchildren who live in North Carolina. Rhonda is an Occupational Therapist who works in home healthcare. She enjoys gardening, cooking and many outdoor activities, in addition to spending time with her grown sons in Chicago and Manchester.

Single bedroom with California King size bed and private bathroom. Pleasant porch to relax and enjoy the fresh air. Hiking trails behind the house.

Bryan and Linda Field are retired teachers (Bryan - Science, Linda - English). We have a large boisterous Labradoodle named Teddie. He is not hypoallergenic, as some are. Linda is an avid vegetable gardener and seamstress. Bryan makes writing instruments, plays the Irish button accordion and is interested in permaculture. We both love travel and meeting new people.
