I’m Pushpdeep Singh (पुष्पदीप सिंह ; IPA: /puʂpəd̪iːp ˈsɪŋ/) (he/him). I am an incoming PhD student at Max Planck Institute for Software Systems (MPI-SWS). I worked as a Predoctoral Researcher @ TCS Research working on Trustworthy and Cross-Cultural NLP.
I graduated (B.Tech CSE) from the National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur, India in 2023.
I was also a Contributor at Google Summer of Code, 2023 @ Machine Learning for Science(ML4SCI) working on the FASEROH Research Project.
I was a research intern at INK Lab, USC under Dr Xiang Ren working on "Explanation Regularisation of Language Models".
I worked as a research intern at MEC Lab, TU Darmstadt, Germany under Dr. Anirban Mukhopadhyay on "Out of Distribution Detection in Pathology images".
Current Research Interests : Natural Language Processing : Bias, Fairness, Cross-Cultural NLP, Reliability of LLMs : Uncertainty Estimation and Calibration, LLM Finetuning and Alignment, Information Retrieval
