I've been using pushover to get notifications from my media server for many years now with zero problems. Just the other day, I noticed that the notification on my phone looked like this. Every single notification I have received since then has this exact same message: error decrypting pushover notification, error code - incorrect HMAC value. But when I click on the notification or just open the pushover app to view the list of messages, the errors are not shown, and all the proper messages are there as they should be.

I made a few edits to @ogiewon's FANTASTIC pushover driver that work for me and save me time. He has updated his github repo with these changes and asked that I give a brief explanation of the additions.

I use high for Intrusion/leak alerts and normal for my Arrival/Mode change notifications. Low can be used for any informational alerts that you like to keep track of but don't want to alert you on the phone. See pushover FAQ's for greater details on how you can benefit from using priorities.

After looking back, it had been awhile since I set it up, I wondered if it really made a difference. All I can say is it works for me, but I am using a "slightly enhanced" version of the pushover driver and not the official one.

That is not so easy - you can trigger a notification from inside the notification system with the replay button. But to get more output or error messages from the pushover script you need to modify the script itself i think.

then i found via google a tip to assign an email address to my checkmk-user, although i did not need an email-adress because i only wanted to notify via pushover. Anyway, after i assigned the email adress it worked:

It should still work. Mine has kept trucking since I made this post. No need to define where the message comes from in pushover, it solely relies on your api token being supplied. report.tmpl needs to be in the .duplicacy-web dir which should be possible with the popular docker image.

As an alternative it might be noted that you can use the email gateway from pushover as well. You can then create a specific alias to use as second and (I prefer) even the only primary target: if you wish to not receive emails but nly push messages.

Do you have to define the variables from pushover and each person that you want to call the pushover Piston from? For example I import your first person above and then I want to include pushover notifications on an existing piston what I have to include all those to find variables in your image number two in each piston that I want to have a pushover event and also obviously call up the execute pushover piston and argument?

Everyone is looking to do sonos, or Alerts when something happens like Big Talker or DLNA. Does anyone have pushover working? pushover is a notification system on android and IOS that you can have IFTTT or any app send a notification when something happens.

No problem, I think there are a few reasons, but the main one is adding another possible failure point. Meaning if you send them from network resources directly from the ISY they will most likely be sent when the ISY is running, but now you rely on the node server being running as well. But, I'm trying to make it as reliable as possible as time allows me to work on it. One thing I want to add is retries when there is a failure passing the message to pushover, if that ever happens again... The big annoyance for me is that there is no way to send the program name that executed the rule, for me, I use the program name in the subject of many messages. I also wish the 'Custom Content' could be passed which would allow sending more information, but for that I use Network Resource to pass a larger message -poly-notification#rest-interface

One could take away that it's not about "if" you are pushover but rather "when" and more importantly are you even aware of it. There are some very real warning signs to help you navigate this topic. Here are some of the obvious to spot, but be warned - you may spot them in others first before realizing you are doing it as well.

Numerical methods are widely used to establish seismic fragility curves in the performance-based seismic design for buildings. However, non-linear dynamic analyses for large soil-structure systems are computationally demanding and alternative methods are sought to establish seismic fragility curves for buried structures. This paper proposes a simplified pushover method to calculate the non-linear response of underground structure. The pushover-based fragility analysis method can establish the conditional probability of the structure relevant to certain limits states by conducting a series of free-filed response analyses and one pushover static analysis. To verify the applicability of the method, two different subway stations designed for static loads only are used as examples for vulnerability assessment using the proposed method as well as the conventional incremental dynamic analysis (IDA) method. The structure capacity limits are associated with the inter-story drift ratio and the earthquake intensity measure is represented by the earthquake peak ground acceleration (PGA). The fragility curves predicted employing the pushover-based method are compared with those obtained from the IDA method. The comparison indicated that the probabilistic approach integrated with pushover-based strategies is an effective tool for rational and quantitative seismic fragility assessment of underground structures. e24fc04721
