The Master of Arts in English Language Teaching introduced in 1991, is a professional degree based on theoretical groundings, practical knowledge, and research skills. Through this program, the teachers, trainers, and other professionals from various field of specialization will master and strengthen their understanding of the lingua franca as springboard to their professional careers. Likewise, it develops students to become global educators, passionate of learning to address the demands of advanced academic study in second language and applied linguistics equipped with relevant 21st century skills. Students are expected to be competent in terms of communication skills, creative and critical thinking, pedagogy, and language teaching.
