School Is an Adventure You Have to Experience!
School Is an Adventure You Have to Experience!
Hi there!
August and September mean one thing: the new school year is here. Depending on the country, school can look very different. For example, in the USA and Japan, teachers and classes change every year. In Europe and Ukraine, a teacher usually stays with the same class and subjects for years.
School, family, and your surroundings shape the mentality of a whole country or community—that’s why this time of life is so important.
Maybe you’re thinking: “Oh no, not school again!” Or maybe you’re excited to see your friends. Either way, both feelings actually benefit you.
School is a temporary adventure. The great thing? Your parents cover most of the expenses—you don’t need to worry about paying rent, buying groceries, or affording clothes and cosmetics just yet.
If you’re struggling with bullying or tough times—don’t lose hope. This period will pass. Life can surprise you: the person who dominated in school might fail later, while the quiet, shy girl could become a top model.
In school, I wasn’t popular. Boys bullied me, I was skinny, I almost fainted in PE class, I had acne, and my family was poor—we couldn’t afford fancy clothes or a car.
What saved me during those difficult years were fantasy books, anime, and manga. I read over 1,000 stories to calm myself down and find people like me—even if only on the page.
Years later, as a freelance artist, I decided to create my own anime brand: Punny Panda. Competing with Japanese creators or even Disney? (lol, why not!) Funny thing is, back in school I couldn’t understand algebra or geometry… and now I’m building my own company.
At school, you’ll always have friends and rivals. Both are important—they push you to grow, to support each other, and to win.
Here’s the secret: even the most popular student feels like a failure in something. They’re dreaming about something bigger, maybe thinking:
“What if I become a professional gamer? What if I fly into space?”
And nothing ever works perfectly on the first try. If your parents are upset about your grades—don’t worry too much! Yes, grades matter for college applications, but when it comes to jobs, people care more about your character and whether you’re a kind person.
So face your school adventures with courage—and don’t forget about love, friendship, and self-discovery along the way. 💙
