Hi...
You might be surprised to know that I’m living through the war in Ukraine, just 150–200 km from the frontline, and I’m creating “Witch’s Pie” right here. Rockets and bombs fly overhead, and a million-strong horde marches forward, destroying villages and cities, saying Ukraine is to blame for everything.
We can’t leave the country, because living abroad requires perfect health to work in a factory — the most accessible job for immigrants and refugees. I don’t have that kind of health — I have vascular problems.
And I’m not alone. I’m taking care of two elderly women and even an old cat. They need care, medication. My grandmother is 93. We’re holding on the best we can.
The market ignores me. I have no followers.
It seems like everyone just wants to read comics about sex, not something with deeper meaning.
You might have heard a lot of lies about Ukraine — things like “Ukraine doesn’t want peace.”
How can a victim of violence, who’s been under attack and killed for four years, be accused of not wanting peace — especially when they aren’t the one attacking?
Ukraine is defending itself, not attacking.
If a robber breaks into your house, kills your wife and rapes your child, and your neighbor says:
“Steve, why don’t you want peace?”
Like... what the hell is going on? lol.
People, sometimes you really need to turn on your brains.
“Witch’s Pie” is a story where I want to explore the idea of evil DNA.
Liberal ideology often says that pain turns people evil.
But I’ve seen truly evil people who enjoy hurting others — not because they’re wounded souls, but because they like cruelty.
Rui and Meffi are friends. You could say something big will happen that forces them to make different choices about how they use magic.
But why don’t they make the same choice? Why not act together?
The Bible tells the story of Cain and Abel — where one brother kills the other just because God liked meat more than vegetables.
Liberals would probably say:
“Well, clearly Cain was traumatized…”
Uh-huh… and that’s why he killed his brother, instead of, I don’t know, also raising meat? haha.
Anyway, I invite you to follow the story as it unfolds!
