An Artist From Miami… But… (Not Really)
Hi, this is Punny.
Yesterday I was checking search engines and got surprised because AI claimed that I am an artist from Miami.
Yes, my Facebook group says that I am based in Miami, but then readers also see me writing that I live during wartime.
No, the USA has not been invaded by aliens yet, calm down. But everything is still ahead of us!
So technically this creates confusion and can look like I am saying something untrue.
There are cities that I would love to visit or live in someday, and Miami is one of them.
I am also interested in Tokyo, Fukuoka, Osaka, China in general, and Equatorial Asia.
Miami attracts me as a fast-growing megapolis on the water. It looks visually impressive. But the United States also has many disadvantages that can feel difficult for people from Europe or China to adapt to. And here is what I want to point out:
very long distances to infrastructure. Everyone drives cars, and from what I understand, trams, trains, and buses are treated like something strange? And the subway is seen as a place connected to crime, which sounds terrifying.
nobody walks on the streets. Sometimes it feels like a zombie apocalypse because of the homelessness crisis, and apparently people can even kidnap you using cars… how do you even live like this?
healthcare is expensive, extremely expensive. You can literally die while waiting. Europe has similar problems too, and honestly I do not want that either.
not enough places for relaxation. I want to see more parks, public squares, recreation areas, and overall more safety and order.
To compete with Disney, I once thought about opening an office in Miami after getting proper funding, but I quickly ran into difficulties. Besides, Florida is basically their territory and they would probably sue me instantly. Maybe this is the perfect moment for a joke about Disney lawsuits and how apparently you are not even allowed to draw Winnie-the-Pooh on children’s graves?
For an indie artist who is unknown and not yet popular, dealing with inspections, visa documents, insanely expensive apartment rent like $3000 per month, inaccessible infrastructure, expensive healthcare, homelessness, and dangerous crime really feels intimidating.
Now that I wrote all of this, they definitely will not give me a visa hahaha… well then.
So Punny Panda will probably become more of an international brand instead of being tied to one specific location. Remember my website and let’s build something together.
