This application is designed to streamline the systematic survey, enumeration, and documentation of linear plantations along roadsides, canal sides, and railway corridors. We collect only the information necessary to operate forestry workflows, verify field data, and maintain departmental integrity.
2.1 User Account Information
To provide secure, role-based access for Forest Guards and Officers, we collect:
Full Name: To identify the official performing the survey.
CNIC: To verify the identity of the government official.
Official/Personal Email & Phone Number: For account communication and password recovery.
Departmental Posting: Role, Zone, Circle, Division, and Block details.
2.2 Operational Forestry Data
The app allows users to record and manage forestry operations, including:
Enumeration Data: Tree species, girth measurements, and health conditions.
Site Information: Location names (Road/Canal/Railway) and plantation years.
Specialized Records: Pole crop success rates and Afforestation survival data.
Legal/Disposal Records: Details regarding fallen trees or theft, including DPC (Divisional Prosecution Case) and FIR numbers.
2.3 Location Data (GPS)
To ensure the geographical accuracy of forest records:
The app captures precise GPS coordinates (Latitude/Longitude) when a user adds a tree record or registers a new site.
This data is used solely to map the location of forestry assets and is not used to track the user outside of official survey tasks.
2.4 Images & Documentation
To ensure accountability and verification, users are required to upload:
Evidence Photos: Images of fallen trees or illegal cutting sites.
Document Photos: Images of FIR copies or other official legal notices.
These images are used strictly for official record-keeping and verification by supervisory officers.
We use collected data strictly for:
Digitizing the enumeration and monitoring of Punjab’s forest resources.
Facilitating the hierarchical verification process (Guard to Block Officer).
Generating real-time dashboards and statistical reports for the Punjab Forest Department.
Maintaining a transparent audit trail for legal disposal and damage reports.
Improving app performance and field survey efficiency.
We apply strong technical safeguards to protect departmental data:
Role-Based Access Control: Data is only accessible to authorized personnel based on their official posting and rank.
Secure Authentication: Access is protected by encrypted passwords and secure login protocols.
Encrypted Communication: Data transmitted between the mobile app and servers is encrypted.
Internal Servers: Official records are stored on secure government-controlled servers.
We do not sell, rent, or share user or operational data with third parties, advertisers, or unauthorized entities. Data is only shared internally within the Punjab Forest Department hierarchy for official review, approval, and administrative purposes.
Forestry records, enumeration data, and legal logs are retained as permanent official records for regulatory and audit purposes.
User account data is maintained for the duration of the official's service or until the account is deactivated by the department administrator.
