Privacy Policy – PulseX
Last updated: 20/01/2026
PulseX (“the App”) is a fitness application that can connect to compatible Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) heart-rate devices (such as chest straps or armbands), display live heart-rate data, and store workout/heart-rate history on the user’s device.
Controller: Michal Pienkowski
Contact email: pienkowski.developments@gmail.com
The App may process the following data depending on how you use it:
Health & activity data (generated during use)
Heart rate readings (BPM)
Workout/session information (start time, duration, activity type if you select it)
Estimated calories (if the App provides it)
C) Device & technical data (local use)
BLE device identifiers needed to connect (e.g., device name and Bluetooth address)
App settings (e.g., theme/day-night, preferences)
PulseX stores your data locally on your device (for example in app storage such as preferences/local database).
We do not upload your personal data to our servers.
We do not sell or rent your personal data.
We do not share your data with third parties, except:
if required by law, or
if you choose to export/share data yourself (for example, using an export feature or screenshot).
Depending on Android version and your choices, the App may request permissions such as:
Bluetooth / Nearby devices: to scan and connect to BLE heart-rate sensors
Location (only if required by Android for BLE scanning on your device/OS version): used only to enable BLE scanning; the App does not track your GPS location
Notifications: to show workout/connection status notifications (if enabled)
You can deny permissions, but some features (like BLE connection) may not work.
Your data remains on your device until you delete it. You can remove data by:
clearing history inside the App (if available), and/or
uninstalling the App (this removes local app data), and/or
clearing the App’s storage in Android settings.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. Because the App stores data locally on your device and we do not keep it on our servers, these actions can usually be done directly in the App or by removing the App’s data.
PulseX is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We take reasonable measures to protect data stored within the App. However, no method of storage is 100% secure. We recommend securing your device with a lock screen and keeping your Android system updated.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will be changed accordingly.
