PulseTrack - Active ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how our iOS application, PulseTrack - Active, handles your data.
PulseTrack - Active is designed as an offline-first application. We believe your health data belongs to you, which is why we do not collect, store, or transmit your personal or health information to any external servers.
PulseTrack - Active requests read-only access to specific health and fitness data through Apple's HealthKit API to provide you with insights and a Daily Readiness Score. The data we request access to includes:
Active Energy Burned
Apple Exercise Time
Apple Stand Time
Step Count
Walking + Running Distance
Resting Heart Rate
Heart Rate Variability (HRV)
Sleep Analysis
Workouts
The data accessed from Apple HealthKit is used exclusively on your device for the following purposes:
Calculating your Daily Readiness Score.
Generating historical trends, insights, and charts within the app.
Displaying your daily activity progress on the app's dashboard and home screen widgets.
We do not write any data back to Apple Health. PulseTrack - Active operates in a read-only capacity.
PulseTrack - Active is a completely offline application.
No Servers: We do not operate any backend servers.
No Accounts: You do not need to create an account or provide an email address to use the app.
Local Storage Only: To provide week-over-week comparisons, PulseTrack - Active saves brief, anonymized daily summaries (e.g., total steps, total exercise minutes, and your readiness score) locally on your device using Apple's standard UserDefaults.
Complete Control: If you delete the PulseTrack - Active app from your device, all locally stored summary data associated with the app is permanently deleted.
No Data Selling: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or health data.
No Analytics or Tracking: PulseTrack - Active does not include any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or tracking software. We do not track your usage behavior across other apps or websites.
PulseTrack - Active's use of information received from HealthKit APIs adheres strictly to the Apple App Store Review Guidelines. We will not use or disclose HealthKit data to third parties for advertising, marketing, or other use-based data mining purposes.
You can modify or revoke PulseTrack - Active's access to your Health data at any time by going to the Settings app on your iPhone, tapping Health, selecting Data Access & Devices, and choosing PulseTrack.
PulseTrack - Active does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13, as no personal information is collected by the app at all.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Because we do not collect your contact information, we cannot notify you of changes directly; we encourage you to review this policy periodically.
